Pacific Northwest girl born and raised in Oregon and currently enjoying living on the Oregon Coast. Most of my photos are focused on the north and central coast but also include the Columbia River Gorge and surrounding areas as well as other locations that are special to me or that I have enjoyed visiting at some point in my life. Everyone has their own stories, interests and what touches their soul. For me, Music and Photography have always held a special place in my heart and have provided comfort or pleasure at just the right moments. Images are powerful gatekeepers to life’s moments we have experienced; I have learned in life that people, places and things can change in an instant. They are there one day and gone or have significantly changed the next. I like to capture these images to be able to mentally return to these moments at any time

Our beautiful NW provides us with many beautiful days full of sun and bright light, but it is also known for some dreary days covered in clouds, wind and rain. I try to keep my pictures original as much as possible. I may alter some slightly to remove a flaw or adjust small amount of lighting, but most are in their original form in how the moment was captured.

Just like images with art, photos can cause an effect in each person differently. Some people may not appreciate the image where others may find beauty or a positive reaction to them. Whatever reaction you have to these photos, I just want you to know I really appreciate you taking a moment to preview them. Hopefully they provide some sort of pleasurable experience, whether remembering a trip to one of these locations or one of these images inspires you to visit a place you may have never been or to just take a moment to stop and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us in a world that is sometimes filled with so much chaos.
